It’s wild to think we first met back in eighth grade. If someone told us that twenty years later we’d be here, building a life together and telling love stories through photo and film, we probably wouldn’t have believed them.

We’re Sarah and Steven, a photo and video duo based in Southern California and available anywhere your story takes us.

Our vision is simple: to document life’s fleeting, unfiltered moments. The kind you’ll want to relive again and again.

We’ve shared a lifetime of chapters together. From awkward middle school days to sleepless nights as parents. And through it all, we’ve learned one thing: time moves fast. The moments that matter most often pass by before we even realize it.

That’s why we do what we do. To preserve those fleeting memories, big and small, so that years from now, you can look back and say, “that was a good day.”

Our approach is rooted in honesty. Capturing you as you are, without scripts or staging. The emotions, the chaos, the calm. Exactly as they happen.

Our films are shot in a true documentary style, while our photos blend raw, candid emotion with a touch of editorial elegance. Together, they tell your story the way it felt.

What makes our work ours is the way we see the small things — the moments that speak the loudest. The unscripted words, the breathless pause, the burst of laughter that can’t be rehearsed. It’s real. It’s raw. It’s you.

We’re drawn to the textures of time. The grain of 35mm, the flicker of Super 8, the charm of old camcorders. When woven together, they create something beautifully nostalgic. It’s a feeling you’ll keep coming back to.

    I'm so sorry for the late reply. I don't really have a good excuse, I just get really in my head and then tasks feel daunting even when they're happy tasks. First things first, thank you.

    In the funniest coincidence, you sent us this full footage on my (Hanna's) birthday 11/14, and when we came back from dinner we sat down to watch everything. 

    We are, once again, speechless. To say your work was worth the wait would be an understatement. You over-delivered in every way and I want to cry because I'm so, so happy we booked you. Thank you for breaking out the gallery into the Super 8 footage and camcorder footage (and the speeches!) -- seeing the mediums split up makes me appreciate even more the style of your editing and what you chose to keep in the shorter videos. 

    You are so incredibly talented and again, we will forever be so grateful we booked with you. Thank you for capturing our day and these memories, Steven. These videos mean so much to us.

    We were so happy to come across Juneday Studio! Steven was always relaxed, friendly, professional, and knew what he was doing. His editing is also on a whole other level, with great attention to detail, sound, and coloring. We were so happy with how our engagement video turned out, and then blown away by our wedding day sneak peek, highlight film, and full wedding movie! Sarah was warm, friendly, and professional. We’ll send over pricing information based on your needs and set up a call to talk through your vision

LOCK IT IN

We’ll send you a proposal with everything we’ve talked about. Once you sign and send over the 30% retainer, that’s it — your date is officially on our books!

Once fully booked, we can help brainstorm together to bring your vision come alive. We will also schedule a call 2 weeks before the wedding to discuss any final details
